Sameer Ashaie

 Research: Aphasia, Data Science, Network Science, Right Hemisphere Stroke

Sameer Ashaie’s research primarily focuses on aphasia rehabilitation, particularly post-stroke depression and related psychosocial disorders with an emphasis on developing ecologically valid depression measures and non-linguistic biomarkers of depression. He also works on emotion recognition in right hemisphere stroke patients, linguistic changes in healthy aging, mild cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer’s disease.
